SO I'M GETTING THE ITALIA AFTER ALL!!! Looks like the "DREAMCYCLE" will not
be in existence (at least not by my hand).
So, I didn't know how I could possibly improve on the Italia.

I like... I like alot!KRUSTYburger wrote:I'm planning on getting a Sunset Buddy 125 as soon as I save up enough money... I decided to take a pic from online & photoshop it up how I will probably paint it when it becomes MINE!![]()
I liked the two-tone & whitewalls of the SI, but I like the orange with brown seat (plus it's a little cheaper). So I wanted to make a Special Edition Sunset to get the best of both worlds! >>CHECK IT!

FINALLY GOT MY BUDDY!!!
Picked it up from AAA Cooper this morning, figured I'd provide proper documentation:
I know I look rough, we went to get it literally as soon as we woke up.

The weather's a beaut right now! 60 degrees! It rained a little last night, but it's clear scootin the rest of the week I think... only its sposed to get hotter. I guess those pics I attached were all backwards. I put them on right, then when I previewed them it was backwards, so I attached them backwards thinking it would fix it, but I guess not...
I got my Bud from a dealer in Ft. Lauderdale, cuz they don't sell um around here (New Orleans is the closest dealer to me). They just shipped it yesterday & I was able to pick it up this morning, TALK ABOUT PUNCTUALITY! Anyways, I rode it up to the local scooter dealer (which is actually a Honda/Suzuki dealer that sells primarily big Honda cycles and Jet Skis and such). They sell scooters on the side, they just have a couple vinos, metros, helixes, and ruckuses.
The guy who runs the scooter section is an older dude, prolly about 275 pounds: RIDES HIS HONDA METRO TO WORK EVERY DAY FROM ENSLEY!!! Now that's commitment. I rode up on my Buddy and he immediately came out to look at it. He kept saying "I love it, I love it! It's the scooter king!"... I couldn't help but agree. I asked him about starting a scooter club and he said there already is one. Gulf Coast Scooter Club or something? I haven't looked it up yet, he gave me the dude's card. He said they go to rallies & such-and-such, so that will be sweet.
Bummer about the weather up there,
HEY! I know what will make you feel better:
MOVE TO FLORIDA!

The Transformer Buddy is the baddest thing I've seen in a long time! I about peed my pants over it. You rock! How about doing a pink one for me? Better yet, I'd get these things on Café Press ASAP because they are ingenious! Pretty please, whip up a pink one. Grovel, grovel, beg, beg.KRUSTYburger wrote:SO I'M GETTING THE ITALIA AFTER ALL!!! Those pics were taken @ my house... The dealer (Solano Cycle) is in St. Augustine, not Ft. Lauderdale. They did all the prep work before they crated it up & sent it to the freight terminal in Pensacola where we picked it up. It had only enough gas to go about a quarter mile. They must've not tested it much since it only had 0.5 miles on (I found that a little odd, too).
Anyways, it works GREAT, so I'm not really worried about it. I went from 0 to 50mph in about 2 seconds!
(oops, so much for the break-in period, I didn't even notice how fast I was going!) It's mighty zippy!!!
Compared to my '97 Geo Prizm that I've been driving for the past 4 years (which, by the way has the worst acceleration of any vehicle I've ever driven) my Buddy friggin FLIES!

okay. TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!
No need to grovel tho, it's no biggie. I'm just glad you like it!
P.S. Anyone who has a request for anything, I can prolly do it,
it may take a little while tho... doesn't hurt to ask!

Krusty—Nice work! You know, it's pretty darn easy to paint a Buddy. And custom upholstery doesn't cost too much for a seat that small. Or there's always scooterseatcovers.com...
As far as Bruce Lee goes, well, yeah—The Man... But how about Steven Chow or Tony Jaa for the new Green Hornet movie?

sorry i ruined your buddy's name by naming mine the brown hornet, i still think that the green hornet is a good name and you could do some cool graphics on it as well. i chose the name for several reasons mainly because mine scooter is in the process of a brown out (everything will be painted brown except a few orange pieces.) and i wanted to poke fun at the "wasp" thing y'know where they got the name for vespa...anyway
if you aren't getting the sunset buddy then don't be surprised if you see my wifes sunset '06 getting a makeover very similar to that first picture.
krusty thanks for adding some color to our forum
