NCY Buddy 4T EXHAUST

Post by RatchetBuddy125 »

I have a 2012 Buddy 125 and I am looking at getting NCY Performance Exhaust (Black); Buddy 125. I was wondering if anyone has used this exhaust. A lot of people that I have already talked to at my work have the Prima exhaust, however I am not a fan of the the look of chrome. Any feedback would be apprectiated. Thanks so much!!!!

Another option would be to pick up the Prima when they're on sale, sand it and paint it with black header paint. I actually like the shape of the Prima pipe over the NCY with the heat shield, but NCY does make some quality scooter stuff.
Get the one you like. Both get good reviews here on MB though some have had issues with the Prima welds.

I've got the NCY on my 170i, and it's doing very well. No complaints at all with it. I got it to replace the stock one which was falling apart inside, so I really can't say if it's a performance booster or not. I mean, it certainly is over an exhaust that's falling apart, but I don't know if it has much improvement over one that is intact.

I like my Prima and have had great luck with it. It even still somehow looks nice after 3 years of living outside.

A few friends abroad have said that the NCY is also great and produces a nice sound.

Quick sneak peek of our matt black Buddy 170i with the added matt black Prima pipe.

We have ran three Prima pipes for over 27,000 miles with no issues.

Just finished the black out on the pipe today.
