spare key
can anyone give me info about how to have a spare key made for my rattler 110? I bought it used and the seller gave me a key for the ignition and gas cap, but i'd rather not take the chance that i lose it. I've tried key shops, including one that and the closest scooter dealer recommended. I've written to Genuine (...No reply). Many thanks for any help.

just an update for anyone interested.
I've tried the link to motorcyclekeys.com that is mentioned in the reply to my initial post.
I ordered blanks from that firm, found the owner/manager to be both knowledgeable and courteous. He was prompt, professional and filled my order without delay. His prices are reasonable. The shipment arrived within days.
The blanks supplied appeared to be just a hair slimmer than the original key and they had a slighly wider groove. My local keymaker was also a bit concerned. He and his assistant debated for several minutes whether the blanks would work. (Apparently, they are cautious about blanks obtained via Internet, as they once worked with a blank that they say caused their machinery to bind up). But, once they satisfied themselves that the blanks had an acceptable tolerance, they made the keys for me, and the new keys work fine.
Again, than k you for the good lead.
