RH------Removing Side Panels

Post by TomCat »

I can see that the rack has to be removed & there are 2 phillips-head screws (one on each side) on top of the panels securing them.
Once the rack & screws are removed, does the panel just pop out or are there other gremlins involved? I don't want to start blindly tugging/pulling and break something.
Reason for question,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,will be painting the panels flat black & trying to decide if pulling them is easier than masking.
Thanks!
Tom

Take out the seat first. Remove the oil tank cover. Remove the rear rack. The rest is very easy to pull.
