2009
Wife bought in 2018, with 326 miles for not much $$$$$$.
Now 1963 miles.
66 mpg running average.
It wouldn't run over 35 mph when she bought it- the carb diaphragm was leaking, easy fix.
I change oil annually.
Installed new tires due to age.
Use only non-ethanol gas + a shot of MMO.
New battery.
Adjusted valves once.
Installed LED lights and rear bullet lights.
Emergency seat release. And a cargo basket.
It starts right up every time.
No fasteners come loose. Purrs like a kitten.
I had my doubts, but it is really a good addition to the "fleet". I'm an avid bicyclist, but am riding Buddy more and more (miserable Southern heat & humidity to blame)

The fun factor of a Buddy 125 is probably second to none. Dollar for dollar you can not beat a Buddy 125! I own smaller, and I own bigger. More often than not, I take the Buddy. Mine is about to hit 25,000 miles. It still runs like a bat out of hell!

It is more fun to ride slow things fast, than to ride fast things slow
