Fender Replacement Guide

Post by Ehmri »

Hello all,

I recently purchased an 08 Stella that has a pretty roughed up fender.

I ordered a replacement but I'm having a hard time finding any service
manuals or videos that show how to disassemble/reassemble this piece.

Any literature or videos that any knows of that touches on this topic would
be much appreciated.

Thank you!

To change out the mudguard you are going to need to drop the front fork out.

I would suggest buying the tool for the steering tube nut instead of beating it on and off with a hammer and screwdriver.

On a Stella you will also need to disconnect the brake fluid line. This means new crush washers and bleeding the system.
