I'd like one of those big BSA 441cc singles. I'm not very experienced in working on twins.

Twins are easy as pie:

First, set the timing and gap on one side.
Then set the timing and gap on the other side.
Then set the timing and gap on the first side.
Then set the timing and gap on the second side.
Then.......

You can get a kit that will transform your Suzuki Savage/S40 650cc single into a scrambler that looks a lot like the Victor. Vintage cool without the oil leaks, the difficulty of finding vintage parts and dealing with Lucas electrics.
