I hooked a power inverter to the battery so I'm definitely mobile.

Wait, how'd you do that? I've been wanting to do that but I didn't know how. Of course I have louds of LEDs on my scooter already, but they aren't Christmassy enough.

I stripped the wires on a power inverter (the thing you can plug in a cigarette lighter) and wired it directly to the battery. The box for the inverter is kinda big, so I zip-tied it to my spare tire. It even has an on/off switch.

I would do the same to mine, but I don't think anybody would care since the lights would be under the cover that is protecting my scooter from the snow all winter :(

One of the HOS got the HO HO HO spirit! Dang that looks AWESOME! lmyers, I wanna see the cowl quilt, please.

KRUSTYburger, I found some D, AA, and AAA battery-run light strands at Xmas stores, craft stores, and even IKEA. That's what I've got on mine. I'm too much of a Lazy A$$hole to do all that electronic jawn.

Leather got her named changed to Ditto. It just seemed to fit better. And she's due for a wee bit o' tartan in a day or two.

Here's Pinky T:

I'm glad I did her first because I learned that I should wrap the lights tighter in order to use less zipties. Also, I'm bummed that my front rack is so shabby. Here's to hoping I win a new one from all the Scooterworks fangrrling I'm doing on Facebook & Twitter!

Charles and I both won something, so I think chances are good you can too.
I used those big paper clamps to secure the lights around my legshield. Not the best option, but it will for the next week or so ;)
