My friend just returned this bike after I loaned it to him 10 years ago when her daughter's bike was stolen. It's a pretty cool one which I bought in 1990 for around RM800 (USD200). I felt happy that I had it again, and excited to use it. The bike has served me well then and now for running around my hometown. Now I'm back looking for the original parts of this 1981 C70 GBO which I can see a few have been substituted. So excited, that I'll be getting delivery of another moped, 1980 C70Z tomorrow.

Nice one! I'm not sure when they stopped selling these in the US, but it was long before this style, I'm pretty sure.

It's the same as passport in the US but with rounded headlamp.

All the ones I've seen here had round headlamps and dangling orange turn signals (round and square). Even the '80s models I've seen didn't have that integrated headset like that.
I hope that SYM may bring their Passport clone, the Wowow, to the US at some point.

As I said yesterday, I took delivery of this 30 yr old buddy. Rode home 40km non-stop and it was a pleasurable ride. Thanks for viewing.
