I was playing around with my camera tonight and thought what would be the perfect subject. Well as you can guess it was my Buddy, Ted Theodore Logan.

How long did you leave the shutter open?

They were all different. I had the camera set on bulb and was using a remote to trigger the shutter to open and close. I was trying to keep the time short and I would say on average it was under 10 seconds.

They look really nice. I really like the flow on the floor near the tires!

Gorgeous pics!! Love the clarity of the scooter in the first shot and the way the light fades off in that second shot.

Beautiful. What kind of camera do you have?

She-buddy, these were taken with a Nikon D40X on a tripod with a remote. I used an LED flashlight to light up portions of the bike and a LED keychain flashlight to write in the sky.

And these seem to be pretty pure captures. My digital camera is basic, but I have what I consider a mid-level (like a graduated ameteur) 35mm.

The lighting of your photos remind me of Gregory Crewdson. Fabulous work!

Yup... That was how it was done. I used a keychain flashlight and had to spell buddy backwards. It took some practice as the first one turned into bubby. You can't seem me in the pictures because it was dark out and I was moving pretty quickly. Thanks for your comments :)

That is soooo awesome!! I love my buddy that much, too! So, do you think they will still have the BBQ May 7 at Metro? I know it has been hectic....I was supposed to get work done, but postponed...
Hope Seth is doing better!!

Man, I just looked at them again, they are so cool.
You need to send them to Genuine, I am sure they would add them to the website. How can they not ! :D
