Modern Buddy

I've always liked Vespa scooters so while my wife and I were on our honeymoon we rented a scooter for three days. We had so much fun riding around St. Thomas on that scooter.

Well, that was almost four years ago. Last Friday I picked out a new-old-stock 2006 Buddy 125 in sunset orange. I'm really excited that I can hardly wait until Monday when it will be ready for pick up.

I'll post more photographs if it as soon as I can take it out on a nice day and take some photographs. I'm going to use my Buddy to ride to work (less than 15 miles) which I hope will save me lots of gas this summer. I hear it's going to reach $4 by the end of summer.

Congrats on the new scoot. Hope that snow melts fast so you can enjoy the ride.

The snow has melted, the photo that I posted is the one the dealer used on www.cycletrader.com. Tomorrow it's susposed to be in the 50's here so I hope to pick it up and get some better photographs to post.

Is there anyting I need to know about the Buddy 125s?

OMG, another C-bus rider! We need to get together. We try to ride every Saturday or Sunday during the summer. We have Genuine, Vespa, Honda, and Kymco, so far. Please PM me and let me know if you're interested.

Orange is the best looking and fastest and 2006 is the best year. Just ask me and I'll tell you. Riding one myself.
