This is me and my Blur.

A couple weeks ago I walked to the bus stop, thinking the snow was too much. I arrived to the bus stop and noticed the main street was salted and clean.
I turned around ran home and pulled out my Blur. The hardest part was exiting the alley and the small street to access the main street. That was an interesting, "fun", experience. I performed involuntary doughnuts. Took me a while to get to cleaned street.
Apart from that, I have trudged through rain, snow, 35 mph winds and Zero degree temps. I like the challenge.

You're right Skully93,
it's fun and cheap.
The most difficult to handle... fogged glasses and visor.
I lift my visor a little and it solves problem. I make sure to wear
my balaclava to keep my chin warm.
I just purchased Tour Master waterproof boots and that solved
my frozen toes issue.
As long as there's traction and my gear keeps me warm, I'll ride.

That's the key, ice. I ride a somewhat offbeat route to work, and there can be icy corners. if there's real ice I borrow my wife's truck or work from home that day, pretty rare.
I have MC high tops, but otherwise just long jons, baclava, and glove liners (plus winter riding gloves). The war with fog is just that I lift my visor at lights, and put it down a moment after takeoff.
Favorite question: 'what do you do when it rains?" well, become wet! hasn't been a big deal yet. Will probably pick up rain gear this season.

My Tourmaster Epic jacket has been rained on this winter. It did well.
I plan to buy Rode Gear Taos Pants, this week. For now, I wear my frog toggs rain pants, keeps wind and moisture out.
With all the $ i saved in gas, insurance and auto maintenance, I can buy my new gear.
