Local HD shop has a Topper, just recently acquired (if it's old, it's acquired, not purchased). I was there when the Snap On Demo truck rolled in...........I don't know why I was there either........

Beautiful, even though it looks like a box.

There was one of these at a recent Rally I attented. I'd own that (even though it looks like a bread box). JUST so I could join H.O.G. and ride her down to my local Harley bar...

I've wanted a topper for the same reason.

But they are stupid expensive, like Cushmans. It's either the name or the fact that they were only made for a couple of years.

frak with Harley riders (as much fun as it would be) isn't worth the "acquire" price for one.

Compared with some other bikes for the day (aside from Cushmans, which are just glorified farm equipment grade stuff), the Topper just seems clunky in design. Especially against the German and Italian offerings in the 50's
