I'm on GOOGLE EARTH!
I spotted the Google Earth car last summer in DC, about a month after getting my Buddy. I followed it for a little bit waving my arms and making faces, but I guess that it wasn't recording for those few blocks. After crossing Massachusetts Ave, apparently the camera came back online and caught me waiting to turn left.

Re: I'm on GOOGLE EARTH!
HA! This is awesome! I was in Hawaii in 2008, and the Street View car drove past me, I stuck my head out the window, but I guess it wasn't taking pictures. I was really wishing to see a street view pic of me on vacation, that would have been awesome!BootScootin'FireFighter wrote:I spotted the Google Earth car last summer in DC, about a month after getting my Buddy. made it on the street view again! This was from summer of 2011 since I still had my black AGV fullface on. I checked this area frequently for a while, then gave up. I was randomly looking for something in the area yesterday and noticed it. Two good shots of me and my lady riding uptown. We had chased down the car for a few blocks trying to catch up and we were fist pumping and waving like idiots for a little while, but it looks like they took out those frames, as it mixes frames from a different flow of traffic around the same time.

Could you please give that old forum thread link?
