My Amerivespa experience, as seen through my iPhone. Several MBers figure prominently. Had tons of fun getting to meet everybody.

Awesome! I am still sorting and loading pics from my phone, camera and video player. Hope to have them all ready by tomorrow.
Also, scoot.net has a page for AV2010 pics.

Heh—that link's actually for the first round of Pistol Pete's pics! If you're a Flickr user, add him as a contact. Great scooters pics from all over the world.

I dunno about that, but it does take about 7 hours to get there on the Green Hornet! I will
most likely be taking the P200 next year, maybe I can shave some time off the commute.

Weren't you at Big Easy Weekender last March? Mike (Prez of Amerivespa) announced Nola would be AV2011! Personally I don't see how they will fit 800 scooters in the French Quarter, but hey, it will be an experience!

Man I miss all the fun. I was living in Tampa last March.
Yes 800 scoots will be a sight to see. I will deff be there... well here. I already am you slowpokes. I am just campin out to make sure I get a good spot.

I dunno about 800. It may only be around 600 or so.
I'm having photo posting issues with both Flickr and FB. I'll figure it out.
I honestly didn't take as many as I do for a lot of rides and rallies. Too busy chatting and eating and hanging out!

One thing to remember. Parking on the neutral ground will get you a ticket. So you might want to avoid that. The city usually racks up some money after events like this. About 1,200 vehicles were ticketed for parking illegally during the Crescent City Classic. You will see locals parked there and it looks okay, but it is not.
Laissez le Bon temp rouler : Lazay Lay Bon Tom Roulay : Let the good times roll
Neutral Ground : Median (do not park here even if other ppl are)
Tchoupitoulas st. : Chop o too less : (although it is funny to let ppl struggle with that one)
Vieux Carre : View ca ray : old quarter, this is where bourbon st. is.

That's nothing, I say! Make the trip! We'll be tooling down from Tulsa (again) when the time comes (probably on my Buddy 125).

I was looking through the galleries and saw this:
I can't read the badge, so I'm not sure what it is, but Oh my God, I'm in Lust!
What is that?

Yup, that's a Rabbit Touring 150 owned and restored by Steve Smith of Scootersmith in Houston. I hear he got it for under a grand, too.

Some more photos I found!

My new Prima bag--courtesy of Anna and Scooterworks!

My favorite Gymkhana photo

Bottle caps!

The (rather ungrateful) turtle I saved on the way home! I contend he never would have made it across Highway 377 if I hadn't stopped and ran out and carried him!
