Scooter Photo Scavenger Hunt 2010 May Week 2: Pizza!
May 9- May 16

Note: if you haven’t joined the hunt yet, you can still jump in.
You do not have to go crazy with 20 point photos – If you want, feel free to go get the basic photo & post up. No one will give you a hard time here. We just want lots of people to play along – the fun part is seeing LOTS of scoots with the subject of the week.

This week’s hunt subject is a great suggestion from sotied – THANKS!

Your Scooter at a Pizza Restaurant

4Pts – your scooter at a Pizza Restaurant
+2pts if there is a pizza box on your scooter (or you are holding it) (if they don’t have boxes, a pizza in the paper wrapper counts)
+3pts if an employee of the pizza place is posing with your scooter (we will take your word for it, but hopefully it they would be wearing a shirt, apron, hat or something that makes them identifiable as an employee – an employee in the window does not count, they must be outside, next to your scooter, unless you bring your scooter inside & if you do that, you can have an extra point)
+6pts if you can clearly see, anyone twirling pizza dough in the photo (through a window or outside next to your scooter, whatever you can pull off but it must be clearly visible in the photo)
(and yes, an employee twirling the dough by your scooter is worth 9 because you get 3 for the employee posing with your scoot and 6 more because they are twirling dough)
+3pts if a customer (not you) is walking near your scooter carrying a pizza (Like a customer leaving)
+2 pts if you are in the photo
+3pts if you eating a piece of pizza
+1 pt for the first pic in this week
Frozen pizzas are worth NOTHING

General Rules for every week:
-Only one photo may be submitted by each member for each week’s subject. (but if you get a better pic later in the week, POST IT with your new points - PLEASE edit your original post note that you posted a better pic and note in the newer post that it is a replacement for a previous pic.
-Old photos you have lying around can NOT be used- they must be NEW photos taken the week the photo subject was posted
-No Photoshop submissions

I wouldn't do that. But it is way easier to coerce the employees to do something silly in the name of scooters.

21 points! That was my 6th pizza spot I cased out. I looked on google earth for places as well to see if it was a casual spot, or like this one, a walk up, greasy jumbo slice joint. The counter guy was really helpful and I did the right thing by leaving some cash in the tip bowl and buying a jumbo slice... which by the way was bigger the floor mat by my front door.

Are you sure that pizza dough isn't just a white blanket? It's freaking huge!

We just got back from camping at the grand canyon so had to miss out on being in front of the restaurant but we did get the delivery car in the background

My girlfriend and I co-op'd the hunt. The week was too crazy and this was the best chance at the most points.

(It is a Papa Johns "rolling" pizza place!! haha! coulda been 4 pts)

I'm really disappointed that I'm not going to get a pic in this week. I'll be looking at the Police differently all this week, I'll tell you that!

I strap mine to the front rack. It's that 2-liter bottle of pop I have issues with.

I was unable to get my pizza to keep the front rack from snapping shut. Hmm. Maybe I should order more toppings next time?

2L = put it in a bag & hang it from the helmet hook on the Stella (or the shopping bag hook on the Buddy). Lay the bottle on its side, and it won't knock around too much.

I cheat. I've got my rack permanently open with a couple of hose clamps. This because I'm too lazy to reverse the springs, which would look much better.

So I'm on my way home from the grocery store tonight and in about 3 minutes total take this. It would've been poop-for-points, but it would have been a pic. <sigh>
