I went on a very nice scooter ride yesterday with my next door neighbor around the San Diego bay and up through the hills just above. We stopped to check out the view and I just couldn't pass up a pic of our scooters with the San Diego cityscape in the background. MIne is the Italia. I love my city!!!

Very nice. I've only been to SD a couple of times but really like it. Darn that military base that comes between us! We gotta find a simple, highway-free way for us LA folk to get down there so we can go for some rides together!

It's my understanding that there is a way. I have spoken to a few who have traveled up that way from SD. And I would love to make the trip myself. Was born and raised in LA and lived in West Hollywood for many years. I will try to find out what route was taken and get back to you.

Excellent. We have had some talk between the SD Scooter Meetup Group and our LA Scooter Meetup Group about organizing some sort of joint ride. Rendezvousing at a nice halfway point would be awesome.

Yep.......... I took it on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. And I agree with you, a ride to LA might turn out to be a very popular desire.

Now that is a view to die for, make sure you park the scooter before snapping the pictures.
Sizing them up

Nice picture of the two sisters!
Why is it that the International looks biiger, yet the specs say they are the same size?

IDK, maybe because the italia is actually closer in the picture? or maybe it's the saddle, or grab bar on the back, but the frame is the same size I think.
Illusions about size

I have seen this effect in every picture they are side by side from every angle there is. I also saw the two together in person, at a store. The International did look bigger and sturdier and had more "body".
I still don't think thee specs are right.
Look at the stands

One is on the elevated stand and the other is leaning away from the camera on the side kick stand.
