Just you wait, Keys, just you wait! I am really hoping to hear from my local shop today, today is day five and I really want to show off my handywork. Looks good, though, what's the decal on the front say?

Lookin' slick Keys! So you're not gonna put the grab bar back on?

The sticker on the front says "Lethal Threat" and there is a graphic on each side that depicts a chrome skull with riveted sheet-metal flames...I'll try to get a pic of them...

And no...I won't be putting the grab-bar back on. It's too annoying to get the key in the gas cap. I'll probably be making a rear rack of my own design. I have an idea in my head...just have to put it into metal, now.

Hopefully, this will give you an idea of how the graphics look. I also removed the heat shield on the muffler and ground down the mounting tabs...painted the whole thing black. Then today I removed the airbox and installed a UniFilter pod-type air filter and jetted the carb up from an 85 to a 110 main jet. So far, so good. More testing tomorrow, my time is up for today...have a gig at a local club I have to play. I'll let you know how it all works out.

Damned nice looking bike. Did you paint it or swap out for the new RH black panels?

I painted it. Used Krylon Fusion paint. Some say the Rustoleum plastic-specific paint is better...check 'em both out, I say! Then post pics.

Both paints look great, I just found the rustoleum easier to use (sprayed more evenly/consistently), but as long as you take pride in your work and do it carefully, you'll be fine either way.
