Removing "stickers" on Rattler

Anyone remove the "stickers" on the Rattler?
I love the looks of the scooter.... but I am 40 & maybe thats why they are just a little cartoonish for me (and BIG)
I have taken stickers off of cars by heating them up with a hair dryer & peeling.... but these are think... almost like rigid plastic stuck on.
Just wondering if anyone has any advice.

BTW my new Rattler gets delivered on Tuesday....
after a never ending winter & 7 straight days of rain....
My forecast: Tuesday 60 & sunny, Wed 65 & sunny
This is the best weather we have had since the fall - I couldnt have planned it better.

They peel right off. The thickness is basically some flexible plastic to add depth to the logos. I left mine on for now, don't want it to look too generic. They'll get replaced sooner or later by something else...

Thanks
Have you done it?- any residue left?
Need to heat them up first?
I am just worried about messing up the finish where the stickers are now.

I haven't yet, but they are the same as a lot of car dealers use to advertise on the back of your car. As long as they haven't been there for 10 years you'll be fine. Peel, wax, done

I took them off and I'm glad I did! Yes the scoot looks a little like a no-namer, but like you said they're pretty cartoony looking. I just prefer to think it looks "cleaner."
They're stuck on pretty good, and take some pulling and prying. Keep in mind once you take them off it's a done deal since they bend and warp as you pull them off. I had to get under them with a dull butter knife to get the edges unstuck enough so they could be pulled off with some force.
Sounds sketchy, but no damage was done.

Some fishing line wrapped around gloved hands typically gets them off quite nicely. Just slip the taught line in behind the emblem and kind of gently saw it off (sounds worse than it is, but safer than a knife) and also
heating them with a blow dryer beforehand simplifies too.

Heat 'em up with a hair dryer 1st. Then, they'll pull-off clean w/o residue. If you have any residue left... use "Goo-Gone".

test first

Test the Goo Gone somewhere inconspicuous first....it can have a tendency to "not play well" with certain plastics.....

Just took off my Rattler stickers - no problem at all. I heated them up with a hair dryer (dont know if it helped or not) & just peeled them back. The "glue" is like "sticky tack" & came off almost clean - a little finger nail scraping & a shot of windex & you would never know they were there.
didnt even need the goo gone

oh yeah... I said I would post pics without the rattler logos
I started a new thread & the pics are there
topic3715.html
I just figured it should be a new thread because I also put new decals on & I was hoping others would mention what they had put on theirs
