Roughhouse 50 Hard to start when warm

To all, just got a 2011 Roughhouse 50 that I got running again. It had previously been sitting for a while. It runs great but I have noticed that when the bike is warmed up the only way to restart it is to give it some throttle while hitting the started. I know this is somewhat common on 2 stroke dirt bikes but didn't really know about 50cc scooters. Any advice? Normal?

How's it now? Very common for 50cc's imo

Actually found out the auto choke had been disconnected. Once I hooked it back up and adjusted the carb the problem went away.
