When I took delivery of my '15 RH Sport 50 yesterday, the dealer threw in a 1 L bottle of BelRay Si-7 Synthetic 2 stroke oil. It's rated API TC JASO FC. Is this the right synthetic oil for a Roughhouse? The dealer said it was. Do you RH owners agree? TIA,

Same ratings FC and API TC I buy it from a local distributor for $7.85 a quart. You can find local vendors on the web.

The reality is any properly rated 2T injector oil is gonna be OK...

I've been using Amsoil Dominator 2T synthetic since my RH was new and had no problems with it. I've got 4k miles on the original spark plug and haven't pulled it yet to see if there are any deposits since there aren't any misfiring issues.
It smokes a little bit when it starts up cold and I let it idle on the center stand until the engine starts to warm up and reduce RPMs enough for the rear wheel to stop rotating. By then there isn't any visible smoke to speak of.

I run Spectro golden 2T scooter oil in mine, but The Motul or SI-7 are my fallback choices. Good stuff.
I bored 2 stroke cylinders as part of my job for over 20 years. NEVER go cheap on the 2T oil. The good stuff really is worth it.
