In the modding process (RH50)

Post by spr0k3t »

This is interesting... the 2013 Roughouse has straight cut gears already. There goes that idea. Time to start looking for some custom cut gearset.

Side note: Reworking pipe for mounting and head connection. Modding is underway. Minarelli 70cc BBK is installed. With the stock pipe, it's already louder even at idle.

Upgrades undergoing:
HiT clutch with 1500 contra spring
Dr. Pulley Variator & sliders
10" front wheel with Big Brake Kit
70cc Malossi MHR BBK
21mm Carb
High flow intake with upgraded reed cage (carbon reeds of course)
Custom pipe... more later.

Other plans still pending:
Taller gearset, something I've found I'll detail later
Tunable CDI to rap out at 13K rpm
6" stretch - possibly going to mill my own instead of shelling out $500 for killerscooter

So uhm, here's something interesting... the pipe bolts right up. No mods, no cutting, no welding, using the original mount brackets that come with the pipe and no additional shimming required. This is quite literally insane. I'm working with my local shop to see what other scooters this pipe will fit on. So far, we've verified the buddy 50cc 2T for sure.

I can't say what the exhaust is yet. I'm trying to work out a bit of a finders fee with the manufacturer. The other component, I've been talking with one of the Genuine reps... they are wanting me to keep this under wraps until they can get some inventory in place. I'll keep things posted.

New addition: 12" Rattler rim, the Big Brake Kit didn't fit with the 10" rim. Looking at the rear wheel still.
