Ive got a Rattler 110 and the gauges have been going out for some time now. I was wondering if any of you guys knew where I could get a replacement. I would like to keep it around $100 if at all possible but Ill do what I have to. The mileage has been out since I bought the scoot used almost a year ago but everything else worked fine. Now I only have 3 working bars on the fuel meter, the trip, and about 75% of the speed working properly so I figured I might as well break down and by a new one. Let me know what you guys think!

This is what we are working with.

This is what we should be working with, or at least similar...

The speedo is made by koso... there is a direct drop in replacement you can get for around 79 or so. The big difference is the koso will neex to be calibrated and custom wiring will need to be done. i did something diferent and went with an analog gauge on my rh50. i like the look better and there isn't an overpowering blue glare at night.

I love the look and if it's a drop in why is the custom wiring needed? Also, the one I saw on koso didn't appear to have a gas gauge on it? Do you have any idea if it does and it just doesn't show it in the picture?

Sorry about that, I missed the thread from prior due to a bug in phpBB that's not going to get fixed for a long time to come.

The reason for the custom wiring, the speedo directly from Koso does not use any special wiring or harnesses. The speedo from PGO uses a third party to put together the correct cabling for a single connector harness. Koso tries to make their speedos as universal as possible where as PGO wants to be able to specify it right down to the type of connector they use. It's like Harley Davidson and Autometer. HD uses some Autometer gauges that are custom built and sold only to HD, these gauges only work on a select bunch of the FGLRX bikes due to the connectors and features of the gauges.

I see I see. Thanks for the explanation. Do you think I could contact a dealer and get a genuine one from the "third party"? Wouldnt that one just plug and play?
