Highway Bars

Post by TomCat »

Would like to get these for my RH50 but not sure if they would fit, & there are no returns.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

If I remember correctly, those will work, but you need to do a little drilling in the tabs to get it to fit correctly. You will also need to get longer bolts and your own foot pegs to screw onto the bar. If there was a way to get the KillerScooter highway bars, it would make things a slight bit easier.

Im at work so I cant see the pictures people have posted but Im almost 100% sure this guy installed highway bars very similar to the ones your looking at. Check out his thread and maybe he can answer some of your questions.

I believe Pronzee is no longer a Rattler owner. However, you may be able to find him on the RuckForums. Also, he was sporting the KillerScooter bracket which makes things quite a bit easier (notice the length of the tab bracket). The big problem though, I don't think KillerScooter is making these bars anymore.

He sure did, thanks!
His are on a Rattler, not sure how similar the floorboard config is to a RH50.

Looks like the ebay listing is the same guy that got banned from the Zuma site but he has since improved the product :?:

I think RH and the rattlers are on the same frame and everything, I may be mistaken though.

The frames are identical. The differences are the combustion setup (engine, intake, exhaust), transmission, the front fork/head gear setup, and wheels. Outside of that, they are pretty much the same, right down to the plastics used.

Thanks guys.
Hate to be a pain in the ass, but final question (for now anyway):
To mount something like this, you would drill a hole completely through the floorboard & secure it with some grade 8 bolts w/lock washers?
I'm assuming the floorboard is hollow & there are no electrical wires run on the perimeter.

There are wires... and frame components. You have to be careful where you drill.

Does anyone know if the highway bar for zuma 50 would fit better on the roughhouse than the zuma 125 highway bar?
