Front blinker relocation

So while I was working on the horn, I decided to do some work on wire tucking and module relocating. My goal is to eventually replace the head with a decent handlebar, so I relocated the blinker relay module as well as the front blinkers. I think it looks better like this, even if it's not LED based.

Pardon the mess...

Did you check state regulation to make sure that is legal? Just because you think it looks good usually means the state doesn't think so.

Yup, this mod is 100% legal in the state of MO. The blinkers have to be located no lower than 24" from the center/top of said vehicle. The only other restriction is the blinkers must be visible from front/side/rear. In Missouri, blinkers are optional on two wheeled vehicles where hand signals can be given, daytime ridding only of course. A good friend of mine who works at the state highway patrol office said it would be 100% legal, and I could go another six inches down if I really wanted.

So yes... completely legal. I wouldn't have done it if it wasn't.

I agree, I think they look a lot better down low like that. I have a Rattler and I was thinking about doing the same thing. Was it a pretty simple move for the most part?

Extremely simple. I just had to do some shaving to the plastics to get the mount to fit. I used the exact same bracket as what was on my RH50, I know it's a bit different for the Rattler with the brackets actually on the handlebars, so you might have to fabricate something.

all you really have to do is either bend the bracket that on there or cut it and drill a hole. it is pretty simple to do.
