My New Rat (well new to me)

So here ya go guys, my first impressions of a Rat with the snot kitted out of it.
I purchased this bike from one of the fly by nite scooter dealers around here,
It was kitted by MB member Dynarex, who traded it in for a bigger scoot, an Elite 250 (that I was also lookin at ) So his gain is my gain...

First off it has this stuff on it:
123 bbk,prima pipe,24mm stg6 flatslide ,pod filter,bopper tires,pinasco reedsmalossi variator,hit clutch,rrgs clutch bell.

I was expecting a bit more top end than it has but I tell you what you blink and your at 50 np, it cruises no problem at 55 and hit it at about 1/4 throttle
Top speed so far has been and indicated 64, I'm not sure if it needs some adjusting or what but it feels like it has all this power to spare, but it's not hitting the road, if ya know what I mean. It will pull striaght through to 3/4 throttle, and any gas after that just makes it louder no real power gain.
I love it! it keeps up with traffic on US 41 np, nobody passing me unless they are speeding
It does take a hit on gas milage though I've put gas in it twice and notice I get about 60mpg, that's a drop, but one I'm comfortable with.
Most of all and much to the "delight" of my neighbors, is the sound, you start this beast up and you know your in for some fun, with the pod filter and the Prima pipe, this thing is down right loud. And in case you couldn't tell, just hit the throttle a little and you hear tha growl, followed by that nice little dirt bike sound that we all love so much, it's just a bit amplified.

As soon as I get time I will post some picks of my new four horse stable:
Bianchi Eros Road bike-"doll face" yeah i know not tuff at all but I love that bike
Schwinn single speed-"the Rocket" cause it's built for nothing but speed
Red Rat 110-"the Pig" to small to be a hog
Black and Silver Rat 123-no name yet but tossing a few around.

I'll post more as I get a few more miles on this badboy.

good riding y'all,
Wheelz (Mike)

Whoa, massive oil leak this morning! pretty much the whole oil tank on the floor of my garage, that was a nice mess to clean up! :x
After taking everything off it appears the small hose from the tank to the filter has a massive crack in it, not sure when it cracked, i had not ridden it in a couple days, but i hadn't seen any oil on the ground last time i rode it.
Should be an easy fix just get some new hose and clamp it up.

Man the sight of all that oil on my garage floor was a bit scary, it's looked like somebody shot her and she bled out all over the floor, if blood was blue that is :P

Yeah, oil on the floor is the worst. Glad to hear it was an easy fix. Probably took you longer to clean up the floor.
