recently put a deposit on a one year old with 475 miles. I intend to use it at the summner house with dirt roads and short trips to town. I also own a Vespa 250gts and previously a 2003 Stella. Is their anything about the roughhouse I should be on the look out for or is all good going forward?

As far as common things that go wrong, if it is stock you should be ok. I think you will enjoy it. You will have to make plans for care of the battery and fuel. If the scooter stays at the summer home and is only used four or so months, maintenance will be different. But you own other scoots so you probably have a good idea already.

x2 on the stock part. I have a green RH that was stolen from me, had the $hit kicked out of it, found by the police and returned to me. After a little love from my dealership the scoot rides better than ever! It's a sturdy scooter for sure, you'll be happy you picked it up. My only recommendation is that you keep the air filter clean if you're going to be on dirt roads. Dirt is not a friend of carbs.
Cheers!

No longer on deposit. Paid off the purchase price and rode the RH home. To be sure, getting use to 50cc vers 250cc will take some getting use to. This little guy revs and goes relly well. Anxious to try on some dirt roads and around town for beer runs.

I think the The would be a ton-o-fun on some trail rides. We need some action shots when you get some. Congrats on the new ride.

Care to guess how long it will be before the OP goes BBK?

Big Mac says by end of summer. I can't imagine going from 250 down to 50. Of course a different machine for dif riding I guess. Still would be fun on some trails.
