a real tuned pipe for my rat
this thing is one of a kind. it is tuned for road racing (max power at high rpms and no power anywhere else). 68 mph on a speeding ticket. it had more but the cop that i did not know was behind me said i was hard to keep up with. he was very nice and threatened me with reckless driving but he gave me a cite for not putting my feet down at a stop. 45 to 65 is insane!
lots of other shtuff too, well take a look.

I need someone to walk me through the notched variator. I can't remember who first brought it up. What does it entail and if done correct, what is the benefit.vespatech wrote:has a malossi delta clutch as well made for an et2 sitting in a homemade vented bell on a pulley for an et2 (larger diameter)with the stock rattlers contrast spring. 7.6g drp sliders notched variator and an over range belt for an et2 as well.

another guy did something similar. his are not turned down as far. and it looks like they are not quite as wide...not sure. but a couple of good pics from a different angle. they are cafe racer style bars.

Interesting, does the Rat have BMX style mounts already? I'm working on cafe bars for my Buddy, but the Buddy's bars don't mount that way.bigbropgo wrote:another guy did something similar. his are not turned down as far. and it looks like they are not quite as wide...not sure. but a couple of good pics from a different angle. they are cafe racer style bars.

the mounts he has on are stock. some of the guys have talked about using risers to shift the position a bit. i have analogue gages still, like the rough house. i want to copy this setup in black. but my handle bar forms a t-shape and flow straight down in to the fork tree. the rattler has this setup with the bmx style clamp. in that last link with the pics some used moto cross bars with the stock clamp.

just call them(scooterworks) and ask for a handlebar clamp for your buddy or go to a dealer and order a clamp for a rattler it will fit. but i can tell you genuine is a pain in the ass to get steering susp parts on time. then you have a speedo issue as well as wiring. all of your harness plugs are right under there so you may want to lengthen your wiring so they arent exposed...depending on what type of bar you choose.

Yeah, I'm discovering that. I went to my dealer last week, and they let me tear down the front of a Buck10. It looks like it'll fit perfectly, but when I went to order it I ran into some issues.vespatech wrote:just call them(scooterworks) and ask for a handlebar clamp for your buddy or go to a dealer and order a clamp for a rattler it will fit. but i can tell you genuine is a pain in the ass to get steering susp parts on time. then you have a speedo issue as well as wiring. all of your harness plugs are right under there so you may want to lengthen your wiring so they arent exposed...depending on what type of bar you choose.
There's no price for it

About 10 minutes later they did and said that PGO didn't have a price for it!
Genuine has 2/3 of the clamp assembly in stock(the top straps are separate parts and were outa stock) so I may just order it anyway, how much could 1 clamp assembly be??

Cool, I'll take a look into that one thenvespatech wrote:just get the bar mount from scooterworks that is built for the zuma i have experience installing this clamp and know it will work. it is better than a 6 month backorder while your money is tied up. i knew that genuine didnt have the part in stock thats why i recommended.
