Where can I get Black Cat rims?

Post by laxer »

Anyone know where I could get some black cat rims? Scooterworks doesn't have anything even close. Maybe someone wants to trade for some black rattler rims?

ksl.com has one for sale. and last time i was in ecomoto they had one to. wonder if they would sell the wheels. or take em in to a motor sport/scooter store, have the tires taken off and paint them.
no i don't ride a scooter, i am a scooter pilot!

Yeah, I've talked to the lounge about painting them, but it's kinda pricey and I'm kinda a poor student. So I was thinking maybe I could buy some off a wrecked black cat or trade them for my black ones.

yea its easy for me to suggest to spend money. i don't have any either. it could make a good winter project if you wanted to paint them. there has got to be somebody that could get the tires off for you. then a bit of work and your good to go. dunno man. best of luck though.

try an indy tire/used tire store they will take the tire off and probably put it back on, i had them do that, get the wheel sandblasted> primed & paint it yourself, very lo-cost it was only like $2 and the whipped the tire off my 50 rim, alot machine shops will just take it down to metal to paint it. if it is aluminum before you rime it wipe it down with white vinegar to get the primer to stick better, them wipe with vinegar b-4 you paint it.
( i learned that working on ships, we painted alot of metals)
