Exhaust bolt ?

Exhaust bolt ?
Does anyone know what the bolt on the exhaust is for ? it is right before the silencer... i took mine out and ran it and it sounded like a dirt bike

it shouldnt run right if you remove that. its possible that it could run fine, but odds are that it wont. the exhaust is a big part of how a 2 stroke runs. there is a lot to it to get into here, but basiclly, exhaust pulses pull the new fresh air and fuel air into the cylinder and also pull old exhaust out. if you put a leak in there things wont pull right

if it did run lean and ruin the piston. i bet you could just put the bolt back in and take it to the dealer. they would never know what happened. im not saying that is the right thing to do. but i doubt they would know you took that out.
also, make sure you show up there with half a tank of oil so they dont think you ran it out of oil. if the tank is full, they will think you just filled it
