Would anyone happen to know if the valve stem holes holes on the Blur rims are .453"? I've read elsewhere (scootdawg.com) that these Chinese-made right-angle OEMs are prone to failure, and would like to replace mine during the winter layup.

You might want to do some checking up on the web as it seems that there's been a massive recall of these (mostly automotive, but I guess it applies to 2-wheelers as well). Apparently, either the rubber goes bad, or the metal separates from it. Supposedly there's a serial number you can check, but it's on the rubber inside the rim.

but yes the holes in the rim are just under a half inch

I'm well aware that PGO products are made in Taiwan. However, this is not a guarantee that each individual component is of Taiwanese origin. So, better safe than sorry.

The specs look pretty impressive, and I like their appearance as well. I know that 29 bucks for a pair of stems is pricey, but my employer gave us all $25.00 Amazon gift cards for Christmas, and I decided to invest it in the scoot.
