Modern Buddy

I just got my blur back from its 4,000 mile checkup (7,000 BDUs). They said everything looked good.

I had a flat on the rear tire when I bought the bike and had it plugged. The mechanic said the plug was causing the tire to wear unevenly. That it didn't need replacing right now, but was showing extra wear.

Anyone know how long tires should last under just regular normal commuting.

Depending on what you weight, but on the buddy, most people replace from 6000-10000 miles. The heavier riders replace earlier, while the lighter riders still use the same OEM tires just fine.
