Gas mileage with winter fuel?
Had a fun ride home today. I typically ride 100 miles before refueling but today for some reason my regular gas station was out of gas when I stopped in. I was right at 98 miles and figured I could make it the 10 miles to my next station as I have ridden over 110 on a tank before. Well wouldn't you know at 106 miles she stopped. Out of fuel. I was very lucky as it happened right across the street from a station so I walked it over and all was fine. What is everyone else getting out of a tank? I think the "winter mix" fuel is giving me less range.

typically out of either of my scoots my MPG is a little less in the winter (more ethanol=less energy per gallon) but as you noticed, it's within a few miles. When my tank says empty I know that I have @10 miles before it craps out, so it's not a big deal for me to just fill it up.
the kymco is a bit different, because as Justgottascoot pointed out, on the people 250 the gauges says Full until it starts falling rapidly. I've gotten used to it.
