Buddy ride SD
August 2nd sounds good,a ride up the coast is always good that time of the year.
Any thoughts on time and a good place to meet that day?
I live in the east county so to go west to meet will take some extra time.

What type of ride does everyone want to do?
Town (i.e. downtown, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, Harbor Drive, we could even buzz the Vespa shop)?
Scenic beach (Fiesta Island, MB, OB, Sunset Cliffs, Point Loma)?
Scenic Ocean (La Jolla, Del Mar...Encinitas)?
White knuckle (Coronado Bridge, Coronado, Chula Vista)?
Old Highway 80 ride. Although it is very hot inland this time of year.

Re: SD ride
Yeah old 80 is definitly hot this time of year. 110 F in El Cajon today. 108 yesterday. It's a little hot on that route.PaulS wrote:pcbikedude, all your suggestion's near the beach sound good except for Old Hwy 80,to hot.
I think we are going to have a town ride through Balboa Park, Seaport Village/Marina Park, along Harbor Dr, to Harbor Island back through Mission Hills/Hillcrest and ending at the starting point. I'll get a map published soon.
Flyers are available at Motorsports.
