Philadelphia's 8th Annual Independence Day Scooter Rally!
We're Feeling Great...So Here's Big 8!
The website http://www.hostilecitysc.org/ will be updated soon with rally info/schedule/pre-registration...but I thought you would like a preview of what is in the works. Registration fee includes admission to events/rides/food....as well as a T-shirt, patch, stickers, buttons, and other goodies. There will be a price break for pre-registering, more details to come.
We are still accepting raffle donations and sponsorships. Mural Arts Program of Philadelphia is our charity of choice this year.
Thursday 7/03
Evening: The festivities will begin on Thursday 7/03 with an evening BBQ and meet 'n' greet at Curt and Jeff's lovely home in Fishtown. There will also be some delicious beer donated by our friend at the Philadelphia Brewing Company!
Friday 7/04
Late morning and early afternoon:
-Registration
-Lunch
-2 rides! Heather and Jaime's 3rd Annual Scavenger Hunt Ride and a group ride.
Evening: Meet and Greet and more good times @ 12 Steps Down. DJs, dancing, karaoke, and beer specials all night long.
Saturday 7/05
Morning and afternoon:
Registration at Vespa Philly
Breakfast
-2 Rides, to include a longer group ride and a Shopping Ride around the city.
-Meet back for lunch at Vespa
-Raffle
Evening: Dance Party @ the Barbary - The Ten Commandments: 60's Soul, Reggae and Ska.
Sunday Morning 7/06
Morning/Early Afternoon:
-Breakfast
-Awards
-Hugs and Kisses
-Maybe an activity if people are still up for it.

Also good to meet Joy (I forget your ModBud name, but you're the one with the cream Buddy with the cool cubist sticker designs!) and to see Ben (yeah, forgot your internet name, too...) again. There were quite a few Buddy scooters out & about! Judith had her winner's SI out, and Paul came out on Stephanie's SI on Sunday.
