Ok, as I'm sure most of you Orange County people have already noticed, there isn't a whole lot going on in the club/meetup department down here so........

LETS GET SOMETHING GOING!

There is too much good riding to be done in our own back yards so why should everybody else have all the fun?

PM me or post in this thread and let's make this happen. LA/SD people are always welcome of course.

All we have to do now is set up a ride. There's a decent loop from Old Town Orange through Santiago/Trabuco Canyon out to Lake Forrest then up PCH to Newport Beach/Costa Mesa and then back to Old Town Orange that involves no freeways and plenty of scenery but I'm always open to suggestions. Now all we need are a few more people and somebody who knows what they are doing!

Outstanding! We have a group and a route (which is by NO means set in stone, in fact it might be a little ambitious) so now all we need is a date. Is Saturday the best day for everybody in general?

Either of you guys interested in scoping out the road through Silverado Canyon? I've driven through there a million times in a car but never on a scooter. I know the posted speed limits are 125cc friendly but I'd still like to scout it for suitability (scootability?) before dragging a group out there. I'm free as early as tomorrow afternoon.

I'm busy all day today, however I do have off of work tomorrow, if you'd be free then?

I have to work tomorrow from 3pm til 11pm so if you wanted to roll out in the morning I would be down.

A redditor is (if I'm not mistaken) a user of www.reddit.com. I think that is the oversimplified version of it but that's how I understand it.

I am loathe to admit it but I've been a /b/tard for quite a while, hence the avatar.

I am totally down to meet at the entrance to blackstar. What time are you thinking?

I have a BBQ at noon, so before that I am good. I will meet u at the HS when we figure out a time. How long of a ride is it?

Roughly 20-30 mins in a car to the enterance of blackstar from the high school.

If we met at blackstar around 8:30 or 9 we would have enough time to do our thing and get thewifie back by 11:30. That work?

I'm interested. My Buddy is my primary transportation though, do you know of any good non-freeway routes up there? I don't mind traffic but I can't go much faster than 55 for the most part.

I'll probably be riding around on the 7th, I'll email you if it happens.
