I'll try to make it this year as well. My buddy Kevin made this video from last year...

Cool. I'll how that vid to a few friends. I'm taking stella, but they were worried about having modern scoots ( a buddy 125 and a blur220)... I figured there would be plenty of modern coots in the mix.
Liked the general lee, and a few others in there. And LOVED the sidecar rig. Perfect place for one! Trying to talk my buddy with his hack into going ,too!

This one goes head-to-head with the Mid-Atlantic Scooter Rally ( a/k/a New Holland), scheduled for the same weekend.

. Trust me, if you have to choose 1, go with the ECC. The MASR is catered more to maxi scooter and the older crowd. Not that they're no fun to hang with, just not my preference.DanteG wrote:This one goes head-to-head with the Mid-Atlantic Scooter Rally ( a/k/a New Holland), scheduled for the same weekend.

Re: date conflict
You're probably right about the target audience, Boot. That having been said, the group at MASR made me feel welcome from my first ride (on a Buddy 150) to more recent times ( on an ANS400S ) (BTW, still have the Buddy ... too much fun not to keep it). Maybe it's me, but I can't say that about every rally I've been to.BootScootin'FireFighter wrote:. Trust me, if you have to choose 1, go with the ECC. I went to Mid-Atlantic last year, it was close, as the meet up place isonly a 45 minute ride from the house, I did feel out of place however with the Buddy.
Got to save my Shekels for Wildwood this season. (I need a beach trip anyway!!)
Edit: Oh yeah, I will be riding from the Lancaster Pa area but will spend the night(s) there.

I'm afraid that I missed the last one ... but trust me, more than a few riders @ MASR got their starts on a Buddy. The worst I've had there was a little friendly teasing ( "What kind of scoot will that be when it grows up?"), but had more admiration for the Buddy ( "Wow! That little thing sure keeps up!") than anything else.
