Buddy 50 bogs down/dies - please assist

Though my fuel gauge continuously shows "E", though my tank is always topped off after each neighborhood ride, with non-etheanol fuel, and with a replacement sensor - which didn't help - Buddy was serving me very well -
UNTIL - on my way back home from WalMart, I slowed for a turn. Buddy died, wouldn't restart, and this 80 year old guy with chronic back pain had to walk Buddy all the way home. Bummer.
I'm getting spark, even changed plugs. Fuel tank is full. Battery is just fine.
Changed fuel filter, CDI , and observed that the fuel is flowing into the carb (therefore no vacuum leak and fuel valve is okay).
I cleaned the carb.
Today I removed the carb and tomorrow I'll check the float level (I've read on this forum that there should be a 5/8" space between the bottom edge of the float bowl and the carb flange (correct me if that's wrong, please).
Any suggestions from folks who have "Been there, done that" and have suceeded would be greatly appreciated!!!

You’ve thrown a lot of parts at this without, it seems, a clear understanding of the source of the problem. Does the engine run a little when you spray carb cleaner or starting fluid into the air intake? If so then you have a fuel delivery problem.

You use the scooter regularly, and out of the clear blue sky it's now working properly? Very seldom a carb problem if this is the case. When you're asking for assistance like this, it might be helpful to provide year, mileage, etc.....

It's a 2018 with 2785 miles, and will not start with carb spray.
I'm thinking "Stator" ...

How long did this scooter sit? A 2018 with under 3000 miles means it must have sat for awhile according to my moped math. I say this because all these symptoms sound 'stale gas from sitting' to me. I've been down this road with my Pink Buddy thread. I suggest next time you pull the carb to ultrasound clean the jets really good and the carb body while your at it, replace the fuel filter and run a bottle of Tecron fuel system cleaner thru the tank.
Our modern crappy 10% ethanol fuel and 2-strokes don't make the best of running friends.
Watch a YT video and test the stator before replacing it. I'm not aware of a 50cc having stator issues, only older 125's.
Finally, check the spark plug gap for anything in the gap end. A little chunk of carbon or something could be partially blocking the gap. I still suspect this scooter has sat for an extended period of time and yucky fuel got ran thru the system.
Good luck getting it sorted.
