I am a new owner of a 2023 Buddy 50 Italian and would like to make my combo harness so my DOT and dead lights stay on and also blink as needed.
Can anybody help me?
I did send a private message to Eliu01 as he reversed engineered the harness that Voodoo used to sell but no answer. My guess is that he does not participate anymore on the forum.
Thanks in advance.

Hello George, welcom to MB. Give this a read: https://www.modernbuddy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29522 There are detailed instructions for what you want to do. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qILOaMoevs This might be helpful: https://www.modernbuddy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31104 Message Rich, rottekatz on Modern Buddy. He did this to his wife's 125. At one time he had a nice drawing of the wiring layout.

The tricky part on this is dissecting your stock bulb housing and switching out the 1156 socket to an 1157. 50 owners have been known to swap out the stock headlight for a 6,000k LED and replacing the amber bulbs with white LEDs, leaving the stock turn signals as is, and turning the lower lights into white running lights that come on with the headlamp.

Re: Wiring diagram`for the Voodoo Combo
I converted the dead lights on a Buddy 50 and got the deadlight power off of the horn circuit. Worked great and, as a bonus I guess, when you hit the horn the deadlights would turn off with the sound of the horn. Honk and blink, a double 'look at me'! I'm not aware of a direct plug and play conversion for the 50cc. I purchased the plug and play for my Buddy 125 from Scooter West. It was Robots kit for the 125cc.
