Buddy 150 2008 vacuum hose layout?

Hello All,
I've got my gas tank and new hoses ran. idles and runs perfect for 20 min and then cuts out. rest for 5 min, pop the gas cap open and replace. shes good for another 20 min. I think its a vacuum line issue. The previous owner removed everything from the tank to the carb, head line was plugged with a bolt and zip tie. So I'm trying to figure it out.....
At the bottom of the petcock is a vacuum line to the ECC? where exactly does it connect? I currently have the head hose running all the way back to the petcock/pump. Looks like it should be tied in the air manifold just behind the carb. I may be missing a union or "Y" connector here? How does the ecc get pressure?
Does the ECC draw or blow? I currently have it blowing directly to the bottom of the petcock.
I'll try and load a few picks for reference once I return (if I return) from a neighbor kids skating party I was volentold to be at and participate in...... lol
Thanks in advance!
