Hi,
My Buddy 50 doesn't turn over the engine unless I apply full throttle and hold it there for a bit. Battery and sparkplug are ok.
ODO is 2100, and it had it's periodic maintenance at 1800.
Please advise troubleshooting steps, possible cause, solutions.
Many thanks!

Re: Hard starting...
I'm not sure you have completely explained your problem. Two possible scenarios. When you press the starter button, the engine turns over but does not start - or the engine turns over and eventually does start when you hold the throttle wide open. The first would suggest an issue with the battery or the starter. The latter could be a wider range of fuel, spark, or battery issues.
