Rear Axle nut torque specs

Post by SnowATree »

I've looked in the manual but cannot find the torque recommendation for the rear and front axle nut torque requirements. Anyone have values they've been going by?

90 ft-lbs?

Rear 11-13 kg/m which is about 80-95 ft/lb
Front 4.5-5.5 kg/m which is about 32.5-40 ft/lb

mark the nut before you take it off with a permanent marker from the center of the shaft to the outer edge of the nut and then snug it back to the same spot

this is also a good way to at a glance make sure that your nuts are snugged up on variator ,clutch, exhaust ,tires
