Hi guys, i just bought a used Genuine Buddy 125, 2007/8. My buddy mentioned it had low power and after googling that, im going to be rebuilding the carb here soon but while i was just checking the engine area out i notced a lose hose coming from some component and was wondering if anyone knew what it was and where it goes, any help appreciated.

Re: Need help identifying lose hose
That's part of your EVAP system. I believe the loose hose you are showing gets plugged into your airbox boot, between the carb and the airbox. The canister in pic 3, captures vapors as it vents your tank. Horrible system, wouldn't be a bad idea to yank it all out, vent your tank directly to the left side of the engine, and plug the port on the intake boot.

Looks like something to do with emissions, looks like the extra hose on your picture is an add on to block it off,Anto3232 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 2:09 am Hi guys, i just bought a used Genuine Buddy 125, 2007/8. for mostly stock bikes some say it’s best to leave smog stuff connected for run-ability and performance
