Continental White Walls

Continental makes some old style white walls with blocky tread but their web site shows a modern tire with white walls. Called the Conti Twist WW. Perfect! They fit both my scooters. So I looked to see where I can buy them. For 3 hours. Nothing. Nobody sells them. Yet the web site shows them. I want a good, grippy tire that will give me a few thousand miles & has white walls. Waiting on a reply from my email to Continental. I love the white walls that came on my Buddy 170i but they're discontinued. Maybe I should just drop by the dealer & ask what comes on the new 170i scoots now. Anyone here know?

I haven't used this exact tire, but I've used Shinkos in the past on my Vespa and Burgman 400. I found them to be a good value with decent tread life. You might check this out: https://www.ebay.com/itm/373531068373?e ... BMlMbEsNdf

Thanks I'll look at those. Continental just told me they don't sell the tires I saw on their website in the USA.

If you get Shiko, be sure to buy 87-4254. It's tubeless.

Try S.I.P. scootershop on-line. They appear to carry them.

I checked & they do ship those to the USA. I need to see what that will cost.

I have ordered tires from S.I.P. Scootershop a number of times with good luck. I used the cheapest shipping option (about $45 on my last order in 2018 for three 100/90-10 tires) and it has taken between 10 and 20 days to arrive at my door step. According to the track it moved quickly in Germany but sat for a while once arrived in the US - perhaps waiting at customs.
