Buddy 50 CVT vent pipe

Greetings all! Forgive me if this is a stupid question. I've recently purchased a Buddy 50. The question is what is the routing and where does the CVT vent pipe attach after it leaves the elbow on the CVT cover? The pipe on my scooter was just tucked into the scooter side cover with a bunch of kinks in it. Since it has a flange on the end it appears that it should attach somewhere. Assistance greatly appreciated. Aloha!
