Front driving lights

Post by Mike1nw »

2009 Buddy 125

Why aren't the front "driving" lights powered?
There are bulbs there. There are wires and connectors. But not connected to 12v.

I ran a 12v off the orange ignition switch wire, success 🙂

Now to get the bulbs out and replace with LEDs.

Aha! "Deadlights". I'll get 1156 LED bulbs. DONE. 🙂

Did you install a switch for the dead lights, or run them full time?
I like your method.

They're on all of the time, when key is on.
Used 1156 LED bulbs = low current draw.
Used 0.110 crimp connectors, into original 2-prong connectors.
