Back on the road

Post by Clydeo »

Several years ago my Buddy Brit wasn’t running right. My favorite bike shop had recently closed, so I made the mistake of trying to fix it myself. I ended up blowing part of the electrical system, and I just parked it until I had more time.
Well that time never came, so a couple of months ago I took it to a new shop in our area. I had them do some mods, and fix the “dead lights”.
I got it out on the road a bit yesterday. I had forgotten just how much fun a well-tuned 2 stroke can be. I know that the Buddy 4 strokes are far more practical, but they just don’t have the same visceral appeal that a 2 stroke coming up on pipe has!
