I laid down my Buddy

I was trying to use the kick start when both the Buddy and I went down. Yes, this takes some talent. I noticed shortly after up righting the scooter that there was a leak. It smelled like gas but looked like the color of oil. The gas tank looks fine other than a little less gas. However, when I went to check the oil, it just started pouring out. Anybody experience gas leaking into the oil reservoir after laying down their scooter?

The fuel tank and oil crankcase both have vents, that can leak fluids when you fall.
Top off the fluids and wipe off all the drips.
Let it stand for a half day to see if it leaks more. You may be OK.

The kick start does not take a big hard kick to work.
Its more like stepping on the kick starter is enough.

Kickstarting them is an art. it's easy to get oveazealous (or frustrated) and wanna throw it on the ground.

the key is to push gently until it resists. Then kick it smooth and down. This will give you the full stroke of the cylinder.

I still have not mastered it
