2009 buddy 50 light performance build recommandation

Post by buddy burger »

hi guys!
my oem pipe is rusted, and since im gonna change it, i thought i might as well give my buddy a little more ooommmph!

since i live in canada, the technigas silent pro is what every one is recommending me,good performance, oem look and silent lol
the problem is i have no idea of the jet i should try and i thought maybe someone has already been there ,so they could give me an idea.

maybe a perf air intake, maybe clutch spring but i dont wanna go too crazy. my priority is that it remain reliable
and stay in the engine peak rev without spending 12 hours trying things to get it to work.
so thats it guys
feel free to give your thoughts or advice

thanks in advance
:D

yes thanks!! saw that! the only problem is the pipe i intent to put is between the oem and the hi perf.pipe.
so im guessing the jetting would not be the same,
even if id be willing to pay the exchange rate and shipping plus custom....i dont wanna be bothered by the police with a non oem looking pipe.
would you happen to know the std jet on the buddy...guess ill have to try a in between test at first http://www.tecnigas.com/o/model.php?cod ... &idioma=fr.

When I bought a stage 1 kit for my Buddy 125, the smallest of the 3 new jets was 5 sizes bigger than my stock jet.
The smallest new jet in the Buddy 50 stage 1 kit is no 90, so your stock jet should be no 85, if the Prima logic is consistent.
-I dont know this for sure. Just an assumption.

Buddy with tecnigas silent pro

Post by buddy burger »

Ive installed the silent pro on my buddy....ordered the (bubu 50)pipe according to tecnigas plan i could find on the site, had to do a custom bracket to fit it ...holes where about 1 inch off....shoulve pick the genuine buddy model instead of referring to plan.(bubu is the buddy in taiwan)😉....maybe it wouldve been a perfect fit...even if the drawing where telling me the contrary.....lol

Ive upjet my main from 75 to 82 and its way too rich ..im waiting on the 80 and 78 to arrive.

I wasn't expecting that much of a differences!!!
But wow!!!acceleration is bonified on all "plages"
But the biggest diff is between 25 and 50....not the same buddy anymore....got at least 35% more accel from just a pipe and a jet....maybe mu old pipe was clogged up....can wait for the 2oter jet to come.....after that....rollers and belt!!
