Buddy 50 cut off during ride

Post by bkw95 »

Howdy! Just a little while ago, I was on my way to the gas station when my Buddy 50 turned off. I was not stopped, and it didn't make any weird noises leading up to it. I still had a decent amount of gas in my tank, and even after filling, it still will not start. Blinker and horn still works.

Also: I have been having to use the kick start for the past week or so. Kick start has been working fine, but now nothing will turn my scooter back on. Help!

Yes. I had the oil changed 200 miles ago, so it should still be fine to my understanding

Oil changed? You had the 2-stroke oil container changed out?

Not sure if "oil changed" is the correct term. I took it to my local scooter dealer and they changed it/added oil 200 miles ago. Sorry, I have only had it for 2 months so I don't exactly know a lot yet.
